Most beautiful deli I've ever seen! (and my pictures don't do justice!) Cheeses, charcuterie, wine, pastries, cakes, salads... It all looks incredible! Take away or stay for lunch because their sandwiches are to die for. Huge and delicious!
Went for brunch and had an amazing meal! The boards are so good, so much food and it all tastes delicious. We loved the atmosphere and the decorations, a wonderful place to sit and enjoy a meal. Wish we ate less so I could’ve ordered some cake too, the cakes looked really good :)
Very varied and artisan menu consisting of mainly local dishes and products served in a fancy yet rustic setting. The portions are large and served very aesthetically. The service can be a bit slow when the place is packed, but the ambience makes up for this. The prices are certainly fair for what you get. The takeout menu is also worth the drive from Maastricht.
Stopped here for a lovely lunch, good wines, and friendly service. Food was so good I also took a zuur vlees with me since they also have a traiteur section
This location has a nice rural industrial look. And the food tastes good. With both seating in and outside. And there is a selection of food like sausages, bread etc. available to take away.
Very nice experience and nice staff. We enjoyed the calamari, blood sausage, and the steak sandwich. Washed it down with a couple local brews.
The place was packed even though it was 1330 on a Sunday when we arrived.
We'll happily return.
No options whatsoever for vegans and service was not very kindly. (basically I was handed a bowl of olives as my "dinner", this was after they already handed me a bowl of chicken stew witht the chicken picked out and told it was vegetarian/vegan, it was not! Tiny pieces of chicken where actually still in there) Only after multiple tries of talking to different staff members was one of them willing to make me a quick salad. Bless her.
Could have easily been 4* if waiting time wasn’t over an hour. An excuse or offering a free drink could have made it 4*. We went on a sunny September day for lunch on a Saturday and place was packed. Friendly hostesses, great take away offering and very rustic furniture. Located alongside busy road, without noticing it too much. Big portions for good pricing, even though the saté was very average, the val dieu salad was really good.
Very tasty and fresh food. Prices were very reasonable and appropriate for the quality of food. Good outdoor seating, but many indoor tables were also available.
If I could give 10 stars I would...
Very friendly staff, everything is homemade to the quality that even Gordon Ramsay would lick his fingers.
